Rubberized conveyor belts

Rubber-fabric and rubber-cord type conveyor belts are usually used in cases of medium and heavy use. There are many types of belts of this type. They are used for the transportation of freight (loose, bulk, lumpy).

Rubber-fabric conveyor belt consists of a separated by layers of rubber fortified several textile cord. Basis tapes

The main types of rubber conveyor belts with textile cord:

1. Smooth textile ribbons

They are most commonly used, due to the versatility and lower cost. High quality coatings of rubber, makes them useful in transporting virtually any goods.

• resistance to high temperatures
• antistatic
• for food use
• not maintaining combustion
• Oil and grease resistance
• resistance to chemicals
• resistance to low temperatures

There are two types of performance:
Ribbon with closed ends are covered with special rubbery containing compound that reduces friction on a conveyor belt and protects against aggressive environmental influences.
Tape with cut (open) edges cheaper, but also reliable.

Versions of rubber conveyor belts
The use of smooth conveyor belts transport limited angle (limit can be 18-20 degrees). If the angle is greater than the specified transport, we recommend that you use a tape having any kind of lateral support of the transported product

2. Tapes with rubber side grips

Tapes for transporting cargo angle may be made with a "chevron", as well as vertical corrugated side walls, and corrugated transverse grippers.

The height of the side walls - between 40 mm and 400 mm. Sometimes a fabric intermediate reinforcement that attaches the sides of increased rigidity. This allows you to transport heavier loads.

The height of the gripper compared with the height of the side boards, as a rule of thumb, is about 10 mm - 20 mm smaller.

3. Tape with chevrons

If you need to transport products at an angle of transporting up to 45 degrees, you should use a belt with chevrons. Herringbone conveyor belt (its size profile) is selected in accordance with the parameters of goods that it will move or tilt by which to work. All products of this type are characterized by excellent flexibility, high wear resistance, low coefficient of elongation rather load. One of the main advantages of the chevron conveyor belt - is the ability to mount it where before there was established a smooth ribbon.
