Materials for expansion joints

Sometimes a fabric expansion joint is required to extend the life of fabric expansion joints, make repairs or make a custom model. Several types of materials are available in our wide range of raw materials, but glass cloth coated with silicone on one or both sides is always available. The coating provides the fabric with better oil and environmental resistance, as well as abrasion, while providing flexibility. Such material can be used not only for fabric expansion joints, but also for insulation, production, welding curtains and other products.

Available in gray and burgundy. The gray material is thinner.

Burgundy:

Weight: 340 g / m2

Thickness: 0.75mm

Working temperature: up to + 500 ° C for the base fabric, up to + 260 ° C for covering the fabric.

Properties: thanks to the silicone coating, it has good resistance to water, dirt and oil. High resistance to solar and UV radiation. Good resistance to acids and lyes. The material is flexible and has electrical insulating properties. Resistant to mechanical damage such as cuts.
