Working with steam is very dangerous for humans. Therefore, steam nozzles and connections must be especially safe. Accidental spills of oil or water will do nothing to the human body, as the explosion of a steam jet can even cost life.

Steam nozzles and connections are made according to the principle of threaded nozzles and connections where parts are twisted together. The only difference is durability - steam nozzles are certified 10 times the pressure resistance, which means that a 10 bar nozzle can actually handle 100 bar, which is achieved through special testing and certification.

Conventional threaded nozzles can explode at high pressure, but steam nozzles are specially tested to prevent this.

Steam clamps (Ludecke SL and SK)

Working with steam is dangerous for human health, therefore hoses, as well as nozzles and clamps require particularly high safety. When installing the cap, it is necessary to use safety clamps, which are heavy, large and not always suitable for all hoses, since their dimensions are adapted to the specific parameters of the hose. As a result, each hose must be equipped with a special safety clip. Given the wide variety of hoses in the world, this matching is often a real challenge. This requires both additional time and cost. Other clamps are not suitable for steam as they do not provide the necessary security. Crimping is also not always the answer, as its options are limited. In this case a special version of Ludecke clamps is required.

The Ludecke SL clamp has a rim with which it enters the lug, but the screws additionally tighten the clamp more tightly, providing a strong connection. The clamp itself is made of strong and thick metal to provide maximum leakage protection when working under high pressure and steam.

The Ludecke SK clamp has two special hooks, with which it additionally engages the nozzle, forming a tight connection, but additional screws attach it to the hose. Both clamp versions are available in different diameters, allowing you to select the correct hose size. The clamp itself is made of strong and thick metal to provide maximum leakage protection when working under high pressure and steam.
