Flange Isolation Kit types:
Type E seals are designed for full protection of the flanges and have the same outer diameter as the flange. Each seal has precisely positioned bolt holes. All E-type gaskets are easily aligned with an internal diameter flange. This type of seal will prevent the collection of foreign bodies and the creation of a bridge in the flange, which would short out the cathodic isolation.
Type F gaskets are made to fit the raised face portion of the flange only. As there are no bolt holes in the F gasket, the inside diameter of the bolt hole circle is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the gasket, providing precise, automatic sealing positioning. of the gasket.
Type O gaskets have a sealing element on both sides of the seal and both Type E and Type F styles are available. The sealing element materials are Nitrile, Viton, or Teflon®.
Type D gaskets are insulating ring joint gaskets made to fit the ring groove of Ring Type Joint flanges. The Type D central gasket is made of medium weave fabric-reinforced phenolic, manufactured to ASA (ANSI) gasket dimensions.
