Flexitallic SF, Novus ™

The Flexitallic SF , Novus™ and RGS range of compressed sheet fibre and graphite sheet are designed for a wide range of applications where sealing performance and specification are essential. A comprehensive range of grades are available covering a wide spectrum of applications, chemical compatibility and sealing performance.

Sheet Jointing can be supplied in sheet form or as cut gaskets, either to standard or non-standard dimensions.

Novus 10 - a universal sealing material, especially suitable for use in alkaline environments with good vapor resistance. The material also has excellent tensile strength. Suitable for use with oils, fuels and coolants.

Flexitallic SF2420 is suitable for use with hot and cold water, steam, oils, fuels, gases and a wide range of general chemicals. It is specially designed to swell in a controlled manner upon contact with oil. This controlled swelling property makes the material particularly suitable for use in automobiles or applications involving lightly loaded joints sealed to oil-based materials.

Flexitallic SF2500 is especially recommended for working with mineral acids. The material provides excellent resistance to concentrated sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, and can be used to seal nitric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 65 ° C. SF2500 can also be used in a wide range of chemicals, including oils, fuels, solvents, alkalis, water and steam.

Flexitallic SF5000 - was developed for use in a wide variety of demanding industries that require high long-term connection integrity. Suitable for many chemical environments, including dry and wet steam, as well as hydrocarbons. SF 5000 is ideal for use in alkaline or corrosive conditions found in bauxite ore processing as well as in the paper and pulp industry.

Flexicarb - graphite sheets

High quality graphite-based sealing sheets are available with various stainless steel reinforcements. The material is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially at high operating temperatures and pressures.

Flexicarb® RGS 1 - Suitable for steam and most chemical environments, except strong oxidizing media. The material is easy to handle.

Flexicarb® RGS3 - recommended when high blow resistance is required. The material is reinforced with a thin inner layer of steel. Flexicarb® RGS-HP - high-quality reinforced graphite sheet sealing material, consisting of several layers of stainless steel and with very pure, oxidation-resistant flexible graphite. Separate layers of graphite and stainless steel are reinforced using a patented process, resulting in a high-strength material with excellent load-bearing properties. Impregnation of molten graphite reduces leakage under low assembly load conditions, facilitates handling as well as installation and replacement.

Sigma®

Combines the excellent chemical resistance of PTFE with improved dimensional stability. Developed for processes ranging from cryogenic temperature to 260 ° C and suitable for sealing virtually all chemicals in the entire pH range (0-14). The Sigma® range of materials contains non-stick properties that facilitate the removal process after use to significantly reduce downtime after use. All components in the Sigma® range are FDA compliant. The purity of the material makes it ideal for use in areas where there are concerns about product contamination, such as food, pharmaceuticals and electronics. The chemical resistance of the material and dimensional stability ensure complete sealing reliability.

Sigma® 511 - high quality sheet sealing material containing PTFE with silica filler. Suitable for strong acids (except hydrofluoric acid) as well as general chemicals. Can be used for all sulfuric acid concentrations. NOT suitable for molten alkali metals, fluorine gas or hydrogen fluoride.
