Gate valves

Gate Valve - pipeline valves, in which the locking or regulating element moves perpendicular to the axis of flow of the working fluid. Gate valves is very popular type of stop valves. They are widely used on virtually any technological and transport pipelines with diameters from 15 to 2000 mm.

During operation, the valve is usually completely open or completely closed. The valve disc is completely removed when the valve is fully open the disc is completely retracted into the valve cover. This leaves a hole for flow through the valve with the same internal diameter as the pipeline system in which the valve is installed.
