ePTFE sheets

EPTFE (Expanded Fluoroplastic) is made of 100% pure PTFE. Thanks to a special manufacturing process, the resulting sealing material has unique mechanical properties. The structure of the material is elastic and soft, such a sheet is easy to handle with a sharp tool, but the tensile strength is 7 MPa.

This material is truly unique, since it did not lose its properties to PTFE during processing. Both sheet and tape meet FDA requirements for materials in contact with food. Has BAM approval for oxygen applications and all required DVGW approvals for gas applications.

The material is stable in all environments, in environments of strong oxidizing agents such as nitric acid, chlorine dioxide, high concentration sulfuric acid (Oleum) and others (except for dissolved and molten alkali metals and atomic fluorine at elevated temperatures and pressures).

It works equally well as a PTFE to metal surfaces, and glass, plastics, ceramics, enamels, etc.
